Dr. Haynes graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Utah in August, 2013. She is also an alumni of the College of the Atlantic, where she earned a BA in Human Ecology in 1999. Dr. Haynes has a background in pediatric nursing as well as working in mental health. She has participated in researching the effects of grief and manualized care for people who are experiencing grief, specifically individuals who suffered a loss as a result of suicide or dementia. Her graduate thesis studied the prevalence of complicated grief in the veteran population. Dr. Haynes’ current clinical interests include concussion management for athletes, non-athletes, adults, adolescents, and children.
