Dr. Geiersbach is a medical director for Molecular Oncology, including PCR- and sequence-based tests such as KRAS, BRAF, EGFR, EML4-ALK, KIT, PDGFRA, PIK3CA, NRAS, microsatellite instability, and MLH1 methylation, FISH testing on paraffin embedded solid tumors, and immunohistochemistry testing of mismatch repair proteins for Lynch syndrome screening. Dr. Geiersbach is also a medical director for Cytogenetics. She has introduced several new tests to the ARUP Test Menu including Molar Pregnancy, 16 STR Markers and SNP Microarray for Products of Conception.
