Thomas A. Pilcher, MD is a specialist in pediatric cardiology and electrophysiology. He has special training to attend to children with all forms of heart rhythm disorders. He performs intracardiac ablations of abnormal heart rhythms and implants cardiac rhythm intervention devices such as pacemakers and automatic internal cardioverter defibrillators (AICD). Having specific research interests in cardiac defibrillation, he has been awarded a research grant to perform computer modeling of cardiac defibrillation.
