Emily Sagalyn is originally from Northampton, Massachusetts. She received her undergraduate in Neuroscience from Columbia University in the City of New York, and attended medical school at the University of Massachusetts in Worcester, MA. She went on to complete her residency in emergency medicine from the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA and a two-year fellowship in EMS/Wilderness Medicine along with an MPH at the University of Utah.
Emily’s research interests include pre-hospital wilderness medicine, injuries sustained in the wilderness, and international medicine. She enjoys skiing, climbing, triathlons and hiking with her dogs.
