Brian Horner, MD is a Visiting Instructor at the University of Utah Hospital. His clinical focus is the care of hospitalized patients. He is originally from Colorado Springs, CO. He received an undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of Colorado and a Masters Degree in Biomedical Science from Colorado State University. He subsequently obtained his Medical Degree from the University of Colorado School of Medicine and completed his Internal Medicine Residency training at the University of Utah Health Sciences Center. He is currently a member of the American College of Physicians.
Since completing his residency, he has been a full-time Hospitalist at the University of Utah Hospital. In this capacity, he provides comprehensive inpatient care to patients with a wide variety of complex medical issues and provides education to medical students and residents rotating through Internal Medicine services.
Outside the hospital, Dr. Horner enjoys hiking, camping, and woodworking
