Chanteel A. Ballard, MSN, is a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner at the Huntsman Cancer Institute. She is working in Medical Oncology on the Breast Cancer Team. Her other clinical interests include working in the High Risk Family Cancer Assessment Clinic.
Ms. Ballard received her BSN, RN degree from Westminster College in 1992. She then received her MSN, FNP from Westminster College in 1997. In the past, MS. Ballard served as an RN in Labor and Delivery at Salt Lake Regional Medical Center for approximately 6 years. While attending graduate school she was an Intern at Montezuma Creek Clinic on the Navajo Indian reservation. Then after receiving her master’s degree she has worked as a FNP at Avenue’s Women’s Center for approximately 13 years. She is currently working with Dr. Saundra Buys in Medical Oncology on the Breast Cancer Team at the Huntsman Cancer Institute. She is certified through both ANCC and AANP. Her professional memberships include UNA, AANP, and Sigma Theta Tau. She is a member of the School Board at J.E. Cosgriff Memorial School.
