Bio

Dr. Thomas L . Sutton received his medical degree from Medical College of Virginia – Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia. He completed his pediatric residency at Madigan Army Medical Center in Tacoma, Washington. After serving as a battalion surgeon in Germany and Iraq, he completed his fellowship at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, DC where he stayed for 4 more years as faculty and eventually serving as Chief of the Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology. He is board certified in General Pediatrics and Pediatric Gastroenterology. He is currently an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Utah. His outpatient clinic is run through UVRMC. His clinical interests include nutritional rehabilitation, eosinophilic esophagitis, inflammatory bowel disease, celiac disease and endoscopic therapeutic procedures.
