Dr. Cunniff is an OUTSTANDING physician. I am so pleased that he is working on the condition of my left leg, foot, toes, thigh and lower back. His professionalism is SUPERB. His knowledge of the material and ability to solve problems is very welcome to me. My primary care physician "missed" and/or did not act or respond to my conditions. Dr. Cunniff quickly diagnosed the problems I have been having since an automobile accident in December 2013. He prescribed an investigation and positive treatment plan and has already acted on his plan.

March 17, 2014

felt rushed unheard about pain levels and medications for pain.

March 17, 2014

March 11, 2014

February 24, 2014

All good

February 19, 2014

Dr. Cunniff is by far has treated me with courtesy and caring and has provided me with the the best orthopedic diagnosis and treatment of the 5-6 other doctors I have conferred with regarding my existing problems. Truly a gem for a great orthopedic center.

February 08, 2014

felt as if I was completely dished by Dr - either tell me tough, live with it not to try something that I had been doing for over 10 yrs and provided no relief (but something I was not currently doing)

January 25, 2014

He always answers my ? but does sometimes seem like he is too busy

January 24, 2014

Definitely will recommend this place and Dr to everyone.

January 13, 2014

The consummate professional. Mature, competent, open, direct.

December 16, 2013

I have seen doctors regarding my condition in other networks and states. One of the most important characteristics that is difficult to find consistently in care providers is the ability to listen. To really listen and hear what the patient is saying/explaining.

December 11, 2013

provided clear plan for recovery

December 10, 2013

Dr. Cunniff shows concern and empathy.

November 22, 2013

Dr. Cunniff appeared very concerned about my care and outcome. He spent time with me looking at my MRI and addressed all my concerns regarding its results.

November 18, 2013

I tried to be as informed as possible at the follow up appointment to ensure I knew I was making the best decision for myself. I was sorely disappointed in the care I recieved from the care provider. He was unwililng to answer my questions and explain why he wanted to pursue to course of treatment. He did not follow up in a timely manner and was defensive about my questions and said, "I was a chiropractor before I became a dr. I know that won't help." There were less invasive options and it seemed like all he wanted to do was shoot me with steroids and send me on my way without treating the source of inflammation. He was rude and not willing to listen to my concerns, i would absolutely never see him again, or recommend him to anybody else.

November 18, 2013

I have been sick for 2 years and a back injury for a year and a half, since an Afghanistan military deployment. After being treated by the VA and getting no diagnosis, I have turned to the U of U. The U Of U has given me two diagnosis'. thank you! I hope to be able to continue my care with you.

October 28, 2013

I have been pleased with my care and Dr. Cunniff.

October 07, 2013

I have had good care from Dr. Cunniff. He has helped me a great deal. He is always in a hurry and I sometimes wish he could spend more time with me but for the most he does a very good job.

October 02, 2013

Very good

October 01, 2013

the Dr. was great. I just wish I had more time with him.

September 25, 2013

I waited for far too long, then when he finally made the trip in, he spent maybe 5-7 minutes and administered the same test within 1-2 minutes.

September 21, 2013

Dr. Cunniff is a very caring, skilled physician who has helped me greatly.

September 03, 2013

I consider him an amazing doctor with such a personable manner on top of superior knowledge and expertise!

August 23, 2013

the entire staff eased my anxity of having a "needle" in my back, cattering to a baby, me. Thanks

August 20, 2013

I was exceedingly happy with meeting and working with Dr. Cunniff.

August 05, 2013

I told the doctor that I had stopped taking my sleeping medication and he acted upset and suspicious that I was taking it. He asked if I got that from another doctor because he does not recommend taking that with the pain medication. I told him my PCP's name again, but this medication has been listed in EPIC since I began seeing him. I am a little concerned about that.

August 05, 2013

excellent provider in every way - competent, friendly, inspires confidence

May 01, 2013

Highest praise for Dr. Joseph Cunniff. He was fully explanatory about my situation, had excellent eye contact, was very complete in his demonstration of my medical needs now and in the near future. He answered all questions in full and with complete attention given to me. I did not feel hurried, only cared for.
