Bio

Dr. Curtiss is board certified in Sports Medicine and Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. She joined the University of Utah as staff in 2016. Her clinical interests focus on musculoskeletal and spine injuries. She provides comprehensive care including the use of musculoskeletal ultrasound and/or fluoroscopic spine injections to conservatively treat joint and spine issues. She uses her experiences providing medical coverage for sporting events at all levels of competition to direct her research and aid in the education of medical residents and fellows.

Academic Bio

Dr. Curtiss is board certified in Sports Medicine and Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. She completed her residency in Rochester, MN at Mayo Clinic in 2012 and her Sports Medicine fellowship in 2013 at University of Utah. She is an assistant professor and helps with the education of residents and fellows in the PM&R department. Her research areas of interest include sports injury mechanism, musculoskeletal ultrasound and resident education. She provides medical coverage for a variety of local high school, collegiate and international sports events.
