Bio

Mary Francis brings to the University of Utah broad-based experience in both esthetics and laser hair removal. A 2007 graduate of then Bon Losee Academy with a Master Esthetician credential, she has focused her career in Medical Esthetics, having worked for multiple physicians. Prior to joining the University of Utah team, she worked at several medical spas.

Mary's specialty with the University is laser hair removal using Candela's GentleLase and GentleYag lasers. She also performs IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) laser procedures for broken capillaries and hyperpigmentation (sun spots), as well as VBeam Laser for hyperpigmentation, smaller broken capillaries, rosacea, cherry angioma's, spider angioma's, and overall redness of the skin.

In the area of traditional esthetics, Mary provides hydrafacials, microdermabrasion, chemical peels (for correction of different skin conditions that are best treated with a high-quality acid peel), and extractions. Her experience also includes facials, waxing, manicures (especially gel nails), body wraps, and more.

Mary particularly enjoys consulting with clients, ensuring they love their skin care and that they understand the importance of a good home regimen.
