University of Utah Health Care General Internal Medicine offers a comprehensive program of disease prevention and health promotion.  Our internal medicine physicians provide a full range of care for adolescents and adults including: periodic health examinations with appropriate screening for hypertension, hyperlipidemia, and common, treatable malignancies.  Identifying risk factors and health management are stressed along with interventions such as lipid-lowering diets, smoking cessation programs and exercise regimens.  Adult immunization is also provided.

Our doctors create one on one relationships with their patients to develop individualized care plans and if necessary, have access to the broad range of specialty care providers of the University of Utah Health Care system. Two locations are available for patients to choose from:
