Health Tip: If You Have Neck Pain
(HealthDay News) -- Neck pain can indicate a minor injury or falling asleep in an awkward position. In other cases, it may indicate something more serious.
The American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons says you should visit a doctor if your neck pain:
Persists despite no known injury.
Is accompanied by pain radiating to the arms or legs.
Is accompanied by numbness, a tingling sensation, weakness or headache.
