- radiologists
- physiatrists
The Stroke Center emphasizes acute intervention and is engaged in clinical trials with the goal of optimizing outcomes for stroke patients. The Center is dedicated to helping individuals regain independence they have lost through injury or disease, and to educate healthcare professionals. Rehabilitation patients share a common challenge - to reach an optimum level of self reliance. The Center acknowledges its responsibility to conduct research to benefit individuals with functional disabilities, who have the same rights and needs as able-bodied persons but require specialized services to achieve their highest levels of self sufficiency.
