Gift Shop Volunteer

Purpose

Provide support to the gift shop personnel.

Reports To

Chris Shirley, Customer Service Manager

Days/Hours

Varying Shifts, Monday-Friday

Volunteer Duties/Responsibilities

  • Responsible to ring up customer purchases, and keep waiting lines to a minimum.
  • Assist patrons with questions about products.
  • Deliver flowers to patient rooms.
  • Answer general way-finding questions for patients and family members.
  • Assist gift shop personnel with restocking, merchandising and cleaning of the shop.
  • May assist with semi-annual customer satisfaction survey and sales.
  • Assist gift shop coordinator with processing of special orders.
  • Perform all other duties as requested and/or directed.
