Moran Eye Center Patient Assistance

Purpose

Enhance the quality of patient experience at the Moran Eye Center.

Collette Marthia

Available Shifts

Mondays, 10 am to 1 pm

Volunteer Duties/Responsibilities

  • Monitor flow of clinic informing patients of any delays given to you by the staff
  • Provide snacks  and refreshment to patients and visitors throughout the clinics and waiting areas
  • Engage patients with conversation while they are waiting
  • Escort patients between testing areas
  • Accompany patients while they are waiting in a procedure room for the doctor
  • Assist the staff with prepping charts, stocking and opening/closing rooms, and stocking pamphlets
  • Other duties as requested by staff
