David Entwistle
Chief Executive Officer
Prior to his arrival at University Health Care David Entwistle held the position of Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics in Madison, Wisconsin since 2002.
Prior to this appointment he served as Senior Vice President of Professional and Support Services at University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics since 2000.
Other positions held include Vice President of Professional Services and Joint Venture Operations at City of Hope National Medical Center in Duarte, California. While in that position, he concurrently served as president and CEO of Oncology Management Services, Inc., an oncology management service organization of City of Hope. Entwistle earned a bachelor's degree in Health Sciences from Brigham Young University and a Master's in Health Services Administration from Arizona State University. He completed a postgraduate administrative fellowship at University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center.
In 2005 he was awarded the American College of Health Care Executives' Young Administrator of the year award for Wisconsin.
