Ray Lynch, executive director of the Huntsman Cancer Hospital, oversees the operations of the state-of-the-art, 50-bed cancer hospital, including programmatic planning and physician relationships.
The Huntsman Cancer Hospital is the patient-treatment component of the only National Cancer Institute (NCI)-designated clinical cancer center in the Intermountain West.
It houses all cancer care services for the University of Utah Hospital, including operating rooms, radiation therapy facilities, multi-disciplinary clinics, imaging services, and an endoscopy center.
From 1989 to 2002, Lynch was vice president and chief operating officer of the Cancer Therapy & Research Center (CTRC) in San Antonio, Texas. CTRC is a NCI-designated cancer research and treatment organization employing more than 400 people.
Lynch, a CPA, received his undergraduate degree from the University of Missouri and an MBA from Baylor University.
