University Hospital completed a $200 million expansion in July, which completely transformed the face of the hospital.

Patients, staff, and visitors of University Hospital will enjoy the bright, expansive lobby. About 10,000 people pass through the front doors every day.
The new cafeteria features several specialty areas, including a grill, bakery, salad bar, chefs corner, and daily specials.

The modular nursing stations were designed with input from the nursing staff. The stations can be rearranged, giving us the flexibility to design a truly functional and efficient space to meet the needs of our staff, and most importantly, the patient.
The expansion of University Hospital substantially increased the number of private patient rooms. The Patient Care Pavilion features 100 private rooms.
The new rooms were designed with the patient and family in mind. There is space for visitors and with the roll out sofa bed, family members can stay overnight.
The private rooms offer patients enhanced privacy and a comfortable, quiet atmosphere.
