Personalized medicine has broad implications in academic research, clinical care, and health care policy. The purpose of this symposium is to bring together representatives from diverse research and clinical backgrounds to discuss recent advances in personalized medicine in Utah. This symposium is organized around the theme of advances in individualized oncology, but we will also discuss personalized health care updates in a number of other disease areas. In addition, the symposium will provide a forum for discussion about how Utah can continue to enhance its position as a national thought leader in personalized medicine.
