Multiple Myeloma Program

Our Program

The Multiple Myeloma (MM) Program at Huntsman Cancer Institute is committed to providing comprehensive medical care using evidence-based medical treatments combined with excellent personalized care. With a team of highly trained scientists and clinicians, the MM Program continues to translate cutting edge basic and clinical research into new treatments for our patients.

Our myeloma specialists are world-renowned experts in the field of plasma cell abnormalities. Close to 1,500 patients have been referred to HCI’s MM Program since it was established in 2007. As of 2015, HCI manages the care of approximately 600 patients with myeloma and other types of plasma cell abnormalities on an ongoing basis.

The MM Program at HCI is accredited by the Foundation for the Accreditation of Cellular Therapy (FACT). In addition, HCI is a National Cancer Institute-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center. This means that HCI has met, and continues to exceed, standards of excellence in scientific research, collaboration, education, and cancer treatment.

HCI will host a Cancer Immunotherapy Conference on March 25, 2017. View additional details.
