Molecular Imaging Program

Overview

The Cyclotron Radiochemistry Laboratory supports the overall mission of the Center for Quantitative Cancer Imaging by providing cGMP quality positron emission tomography (PET) radiopharmaceuticals for both research and clinical needs. The laboratory was established in November 2002 and has steadily grown in capacity. The main focus of the lab is the production of 18F-Fludeoxyglucose (FDG) for PET imaging, which is distributed to not only Huntsman Cancer Hospital’s clinical needs but the intermountain area as well. The following radiopharmaceuticals and resources are available within the radiochemistry area.
