GUMDOT Progress Report

Support the Genitourinary Malignancies DOT

Overview of Projects:

The GUMDOT is actively engaged in numerous projects that promote research, health and wellness amongst patients with prostate cancer.  Central to our mission is a robust research database that is linked to tissue specimens so that our basic scientists and outcomes research faculty can have immediate access to the tools they need to answer important questions in cancer research.  The team is also engaged in education and outreach, and sponsors symposium for medical professionals to stay current on the latest cutting edge science and treatments for our patients.  The GUMDOT actively supports opening and maintaining clinical trials so that our patients have access to the latest, most promising new therapies in addition to our care standards.  The GUMDOT team feels that quality of life for our patients drives everything we do.
