University Health Care Infusion Center
The University Health Care Infusion Center provides cost-effective, outpatient ambulatory infusion therapy in a comfortable and safe enivornment. Located in Clinic 1 of the University of Utah Hospital, we are committed to providing both patients and caregivers with hospital-quality IV therapies outside of a traditional hospital setting. Our outpatient services therapy is covered by Medicare and many other insurance companies as part of a patient's major medical benefits. Providers have real time access to computerized clinical documentation to assess the patient’s response to the infusion therapy.
The Facilties
The University Hospital's radiology, laboratory and emergency services are located nearby. Patients can recline comfortably in chairs or beds while watching television or enjoying our dvd collection. Current magazines are available as well. Boxed lunches are provided by our experienced and friendly staff.
Patients can be scheduled between the hours of 7 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Saturday. Evening and Sunday appointments are available based on patients’ infusion needs.
