Thomas Caine, M.D.

A native of Boise, Idaho, he completed his undergraduate degree and medical degree at the University of Utah. This was followed by a Residency in Internal Medicine and a Fellowship in Clinical Cardiology at the University of Wisconsin in Madison, Wisconsin. He subsequently returned to join the faculty at the University of Utah School of Medicine.

John Doane, M.D.

Dr. Doane is a board-certified internist in the outpatient Internal Medicine Clinic at University Hospital. He received graduated from Stanford University (Honors, Human Biology), medical school at Bowman Gray School of Medicine, and internal medicine residency at the University of Utah. Dr. Doane's practice covers the full scope of internal medicine, with special interest in preventive care, cardiovascular risk reduction, diabetes mellitus, hypertension, and the care of homeless/underserved patients. Outside interests include family, mandolin, cycling, the Utah Jazz, and telemark skiing.

Jason Penrod, M.D.

Dr. Penrod works in clinic 2 as a general internist. He graduated from the Medical College of Wisconsin and finished his residency in internal medicine here at the University of Utah. His is originally from Ogden, Utah. Hobbies include backpacking, astronomy, hiking, birding, and cooking. He is married and has two children.
