As a comprehensive urologic and pelvic reconstructive clinic at a major academic medical center, we treat a wide range of surgical problems in reconstructive urology.
This includes the following:
- Urethral strictures
- Fistula
- Complications from radiation
- Ureteral scarring
- Congenital developmental problems in adults
- Urinary diversion
- Neurogenic bladder from spinal cord injury or other disease
- Prosthetic implantation for erectile dysfunction or incontinence
- Penile problems, such as curvature or Peyronie’s disease
We believe each patient is unique and, accordingly, offers both surgical and non-surgical treatments based on individual needs and circumstances. This patient-centered approach, combined with close follow-up, is critical to our success. Also integral to our success is the leading-edge research we undertake as part of an internationally regarded academic institution. Our studies allow us to carefully track outcomes to optimize patient treatment.
Our surgeons, William Brant, M.D., and Jeremy Myers, M.D., have received highly specialized fellowship training in their fields. Dr. Brant specializes in treating sexual dysfunction and incontinence, especially in patients who have been treated for prostate cancer. He is one of the busiest surgeons in the country in this specialty, and a large emphasis of his practice is in penile and urinary prosthetics. Dr. Myers specializes in urologic reconstruction spanning the treatment of neurogenic bladder, urinary diversion and the treatment of urethral strictures. In addition to our doctors, our staff comprises urologic nurses, nurse practitioners and physician assistants who are among the most caring and experienced professionals in their fields. Each of our staff members plays a vital role in the team approach that is critical to our patients’ satisfaction and wellbeing.
We are firmly committed to giving you the most comprehensive and compassionate medical care available.
