With the Verisyse lens procedure, the lens is placed in front of your natural lens, and is clipped to the colored part of the eye (iris). The Verisyse lens is made from PMMA material that is well tolerated in the eye. It is about one-fourth size of your fingernail, making it almost undetectable to the naked eye. It has been used safely and effectively to correct myopia between -5 diopters to -20 diopters.
