Part of the Clinical Neurosciences Center, the Neurosciences Inpatient Units at University Hospital include the regions’ largest Neurosciences Critical Care and Neurosciences Acute Care units that are recognized for excellence. These fast-paced units provide the full continuum of services to patients and their families within a friendly and collaborative atmosphere. In the Neuroscience Units you will gain expertise in caring for a variety of high acuity patients. University Hospital’s Neurosciences Units are the primary referral center for a wide variety of acute neurological illnesses and injuries in the region, many of whom are flown here by our internationally recognized AirMed transport teams from hundreds of miles away.
