The Neuro Spine Care Center at the University of Utah provides comprehensive patient care from initial diagnosis through post-treatment and rehabilitation. Our team of spinal neurosurgeons is well recognized around the world and treats the full spectrum of spinal and spinal cord disorders, including degenerative spine conditions, spine and spinal cord tumors, spinal trauma, and deformity.
Spine Care at the Clinical Neurosciences Center at the University of Utah offers comprehensive non-surgical and surgical treatments for the full spectrum of spine and spinal cord disorders. Our team of spine experts specializes in cervical, thoracic, and lumbar degenerative spine conditions, which includes cervical and lumbar disc herniations and lumbar spinal stenosis. In addition, our experts also take care of complex degenerative spinal conditions, such as adult spinal deformity and scoliosis. We also have specific expertise in the management of spine and spinal cord disorders and also treat spine fractures and spinal cord injuries.
Our approach to patients with degenerative spine conditions is comprehensive and may include both non-surgical and surgical treatment options. Specialized surgical procedures performed in our program are minimally invasive spinal surgery, microscopic spinal surgery, endoscopic spinal surgery, motion preservation surgery, lumbar disc replacement/arthroplasty, and dynamic stabilization, in addition to traditional open and complex spinal fusion procedures.
The Neuro Spine Care team sees patients in the new Spine Care Clinic at the Clinical Neuroscience Center at the University of Utah. The Spine Care program is fully integrated within the clinical neuroscience program and all our physicians participate in cutting edge research in basic science and clinical trials.
