Clinical Neurosciences and Spine Center

Neuro-Oncology

Our neurosurgeons participate in a multidisciplinary approach that includes neurologists, oncologists, and radiologists in determining an individual treatment plan for each patient. We also offer the latest in experimental protocols. Primary and metastatic brain tumors, spinal tumors, and peripheral nerve tumors are all treated by our neurosurgeons.

Drs. Daniel W. Fults, Meic H. Schmidt, Randy L. Jensen, and William T. Couldwell are extensively involved in the multidisciplinary effort to treat brain tumors. They are also on the forefront of brain tumor research. Our neurosurgeons treat many patients with stereotactic radiosurgery, which is a technique that delivers radiation to a brain tumor without radiating much of the surrounding normal brain.
