Kent N. Bachus, Ph.D.
I received my Masters of Science degree in Bioelectrics/Bioengineering from the University of Michigan, and a doctoral degree in Bioengineering from the University of Utah. I joined the faculty of the Department of Orthopaedics in 1994 as Director of the Orthopaedic Research Laboratory, and also hold academic appointments in the Department of Bioengineering and the Department of Mechanical Engineering. My research interests include spine biomechanics, trauma, three-dimensional kinematics, and correlative histometric, mineral, and biomechanical studies of bone.
