I am an Associate Professor who joined the Department of Orthopaedics in March of 1997 and specialize in sports medicine. My interests include all aspects of knee and shoulder surgery, including arthroscopic surgery and multiple knee ligament injuries, shoulder reconstruction and the treatment of sports-related injuries. My research interests include evaluation of rotator cuff function, rotator cuff reconstruction, and the evaluation of clinical results following multiple ligament knee reconstruction. I trained at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, I completed a residency at the University of Pittsburgh, and  a sports medicine fellowship at the Steadman-Hawkins Clinic in Vail, Colorado.
