The University Orthopaedic Center, a joint venture between the Department of Orthopaedics and the University of Utah Hospitals and Clinics, is the premiere site for all subspecialties of orthopaedic surgery.

The center is located on the corner of Foothill Drive and Wakara Way in University of Utah's Research Park. Hours are 8:00am to 4:30pm Monday throught Friday. All specialties practice at this location.

University of Utah Medical Center Emergency

The University of Utah Medical Center is a Level-1 trauma center where care is available 24 hours daily in cases of medical emergency. Orthopaedic consultation is available at all times in the emergency departments. We encourage our patients to contact the Orthopaedic Clinic in non-emergency situations (801-587-7100).

Primary Children's Medical Center (PCMC) Orthopaedic Clinic is located in Suite 4550 on the fourth floor of the center at 100 North Medical Drive in Salt Lake City. The clinic is open Monday through Friday, from 8:30am to 4:30pm.

Shriners Intermountain Hospital

Located in Salt Lake City's historic Avenues neighborhood at the intersection of Fairfax Road and Virginia street, Shriners Hospital is a nonprofit organization that requires an application for appointments. The clinic is open Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm.

To refer a patient to the Intermountain Shriners Hospital, referring physicians can contact Chief of Staff James W. V.A. Medical Center

The Veteran's Affairs Medical Center is a regional referral center for veterans located on 500 South Foothill Drive in Salt Lake City. It is closely affiliated with the University of Utah School of Medicine, which is physically located adjacent to the Medical Center.

Huntsman Cancer Institute

The Huntsman Cancer Institute (HCI), a hospital-based patient care center in association with the University of Utah Health Sciences Center, is located on 2000 Circle of Hope (above the University of Utah Medical Center). The Sarcoma Service at HCI specializes in, researches, and treats sarcomas, an unusual group of cancers that arise from connective tissue, including bone, fat, muscle, nerve sheaths, blood vessels, tendons and cartilage--tumors that can affect all ages. The Sarcoma Service at HCI is directed by R. Lor Randall, M.D., FACS.
