Eric Yelsa, Ph.D.

Education:

Eric Yelsa completed his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the California School Professional Psychology, Los Angeles in 1995 with an emphasis in Health Psychology. He has training in pain management, psychological factors effecting chronic illness, neuropsychology, rehabilitation psychology, biofeedback, and mindfulness-based interventions.  Dr. Yelsa has experience working with children with chronic pain syndromes as well as adult and geriatric individuals. He has served as an executive board member for the Utah Psychological Association.

He is interested in quality of life factors that impact the aging population and the use of mindfulness techniques for reducing depression and anxiety rates in the elderly.
