Prevnar (Pneumococcal 7-valent Conjugate) Vaccine Recall

Wyeth is recalling one lot (Lot #: D50002) of its Prevnar vaccine pre-filled syringes because a portion of the lot was not meant to be distributed commercially. Patients vaccinated with the recalled lot do not need revaccination since no health or safety risk is expected due to exposure to the vaccine.
