Chris Beckwith, PharmD Clinical Coordinator
Dr. Beckwith completed a General Hospital Residency in 1992 and a Drug Information Specialty Residency at the University Hospital in 1993. She enjoys being a Drug Information Specialist and clinical coordinator. Hematology-oncology is her specialty area. Dr. Beckwith is the lead editor of the Cancer Chemotherapy Manual.
Away from the office, Chris likes to hike, enjoy fine food and wine, and practice yoga. She also runs Camp Hobé, a nonprofit summer camp for children with cancer and their siblings. She is married, with a grown stepdaughter, and 2 toy poodles. |
Celeste Conlin Executive Secretary
Celeste is the center's administrative assistant. She is the master of keys, supplies, technical support, drug cost reports, etc.
Celeste enjoys spending time with her two sons, daughter-in-law and husband, crafts and is finally finishing her degree. |
Megan Dryer, PharmD Drug Information Specialist
Megan completed her Doctor of Pharmacy (2008) and Pharmacy Practice residency (2009) at the University of Utah. She is thrilled to be on the DIS team and is currently a full-time staff member.
Megan enjoys being with family and friends, traveling, spending weekends at Bear Lake, playing cards, knitting, and spoiling her dog, Ruby. |
Cliff Feddema Project Manager
Mr. Feddema is the DIS's project manager and administrative technician. He maintains order and sanity in the Center. He serves as the Department of Pharmacy Services' Webmaster. He has associate's degrees in business administration and business pre-law.
Cliff likes to ride his motorcycle, cook, listen to music, enjoy the occasional glass of wine, and go camping. On really great days he combines them all. |
Erin Fox, PharmD Manager, Drug Information Service
Dr. Fox completed a Drug Information Specialty Residency after graduating from the University of Utah College of Pharmacy in 1999. She became the manager of the service in 2009. Her areas of interest include drug information, drug shortage management, evidence based medicine, and internal medicine.

Mary Giouroukakis, PharmD
Drug Information Specialist
Mary Giouroukakis, PharmD is a Drug Information Specialist at the University of Utah Hospitals & Clinics and serves as Adjunct Instructor at the Department of Pharmacotherapy, University of Utah College of Pharmacy. Mary recently completed her PGY2 Drug Information Residency at the University of Utah. Prior to the PGY2 Residency, Mary completed her PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Residency at Stony Brook University Medical Center and received her PharmD from the Arnold & Marie Schwartz College of Pharmacy at Long Island University in Brooklyn, New York. |
Kristy Jefferies, PharmD Drug Information Specialist
Kristy completed her Doctor of Pharmacy degree and Pharmacy Practice Residency at the University of Utah. She then went on to work as the clinical pharamcist for the neurology clinics at the University of Utah. She is excited to now be a part of the Drug Information team.
In her spare time Kristy enjoys downhill skiing, wheel-thrown pottery, trying out new restaurants, and finding toddler-appropriate activities with her daughter. |
Ginny Jones, RPh Drug Information Specialist
Ginny graduated from the University of Utah pharmacy program in 1989. She has worked as a clinical pharmacist at the University Hospital since 1990.
Ginny enjoys oil painting, designing and constructing costumes, scuba diving, and reading murder mysteries. She especially loves spending time with her grandchildren. |
Dave Peterson, PharmD Drug Information Specialist
Dr. Peterson completed a Drug Information Residency at the University of Utah Hospital in 2002. He is a full-time DIS staff member.
Dave (aka "Blind Dog") is the Center's blues guitarist. If he ever doesn't show up for work, you can bet he hit the road looking for the crossroads. Dave's other distractions include a bit of geocaching, R/C car racing, hiking, fishing, and watching the Detriot Red Wings dominate on the ice. Michelle Wheeler, PharmD Drug Information Specialist
Dr. Wheeler completed her training at UC San Francisco at the School of Pharmacy including a Pharmacy Practice Residency in 1994 and a Specialty Residency in 1995.
She came to work here at the University Hospital in 1995 in a combined position with the Drug Information Center and the Inpatient Pharmacy. She then took on a position as an Inpatient Anticoagulation Pharmacist in 2002 but has recently returned to a full time position at the Drug Information Center.
Michelle enjoys spending time with her family and friends. This includes watching SpongeBob marathons with her nephews, wine tasting dinners with her friends, and traveling around the globe with anyone willing. |
