Girls Night Out for Health and Well-Being
Grab your girlfriend, sister, and mother and join us for a fun evening designed to help women move toward better health and vibrant living. KUTV news anchor Mary Nickles will be the guest speaker. Participate in lots of activities, including healthy cooking demonstrations, massage, anti-aging skin demonstrations and eye and skin screenings. Chat with physicians about your health concerns at the Ask A Doc stations. Areas of focus will include fitness and nutrition, cancer prevention, primary care for women, obstetrics and gynecology, cosmetic services and preparedness. This event is FREE.

Mary Nickles, KUTV News AnchorMary currently co-anchors KUTV’s 2NEWS This Morning on weekdays from 5:00 a.m. - 8 a.m. and 2NEWS at Noon. Mary is also KUTV'S Check Your Health spokesperson, hosts the Workouts on the Web, writes two health blogs, and does in-depth reporting for the station, winning an Emmy for Best News Series in 2012. That series started with Mary getting a mammogram to encourage more women to get screened, and resulted in the discovery of an invasive, malignant tumor. |
