South Jordan Health Center
Endoscopy Center
The Endoscopy Center at the University of Utah's South Jordan Health Center treats patients with gastrointestinal (GI) disorders including the following:
- Heartburn
- Hemorrhoids
- Celiac disease
- Crohn's disease
- Irritable bowel syndrome
We offer both screening colonoscopy and upper GI endoscopy (EGD) and GI consults.
The Endoscopy Center would like to remind you that regular screening is the best way to prevent colon cancer. Colon cancer screening should begin at the age of 50 for both men and women. Patients with a family history of colon cancer or pre-cancerous polyps may have different screening guidelines and should consult their health care provider.
