What is CT?
CT is an abbreviation for Computed Tomography. A CT scanner utilizes X-ray and a series of detectors which rotate around the patient continuously. The X-rays pass through patient’s body and get absorbed by the detectors. The collected data gets analyzed by a computer which creates several cross sectional images of the patient.
