The Comprehensive Breast Care Center at The Huntsman Cancer Hospital is the first health care organization in the Intermountain West to receive the Breast Imaging Center of Excellence Certification by the American College of Radiology. We were also the first facility to provide digital mammography. This technology is used for screening and diagnostic mammography. Our radiologists have the most clinical experience in using digital mammography as we have been fully digital since 2004. Other services offered in our Breast Care Center include:

- R2 CAD is a computer aided detection device.

A team of Radiologists, Breast Surgeons, Oncologists, Plastic Surgeons, Pathologists and Radiation Oncologist's meet every week to review each new breast cancer case. This multidisciplinary team plans the best course of treatment for each individual.
