Chris McGann, M.D.

Christopher McGann, M.D., is an Associate Professor of Medicine with appointments in both the Cardiology Division and Radiology Department at the University of Utah. He has been on faculty at the University of Utah since 2002 and is Section Chief of General Cardiology and the Co-Director of Cardiovascular MRI. He received his medical degree from the University of Virginia in 1994, completed Internal Medicine residency at University of Texas Southwestern in 1997 and his Cardiology Fellowship at the University of Utah in 2001. He then went on for advanced training in cardiovascular imaging in MRI at Stanford University. Dr. McGann has built a large clinical cardiology and imaging practice in Utah and is a member of the Comprehensive Arrhythmia Research and Management (CARMA) team and Utah Center for Advanced Imaging Research (UCAIR) at the University of Utah.
