Wayne Stokes, M.D.
Dr. Stokes is a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation physician. He obtained his medical degree from the University of Vermont College of Medicine in 1988. He did his residency at the National Rehabilitation Hospital in Washington D.C. and his Sports Medicine Fellowship at Beth Israel in New York City in 1993. Dr. Stokes belongs to the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. As a former full time Penn State team physician Dr. Stokes has great interest and experience in the diagnosis and treatment of injuries and pain in the joint end muscles. Dr. Stokes' professional interests are skiing and ski history, urban blues music, hiking and longboard surfing.
