Spinal Cord Injury Inpatient Rehabilitation Statistics 2011
In 2011, we cared for 705 patients, 114 of those patients participated in our Spinal Cord Injury System of Care.

Functional improvement is measured by the Functional Independence Measure (FIM). Eighteen different skills are evaluated. The higher the FIM score, the more a person can do for themselves. The functional status of our patients, on average, scored a 2.16 rating for daily improvement in skills learned from start of rehabilitative care through discharge. This rating is significantly higher than the national average of 2.02. |
