Support Groups
Support groups can be an essential means of ongoing support as you return to your home and community after rehabilitation. The local Salt Lake City community has many support resources available. Below are listed many of the groups we commonly refer patient and families to, for ongoing support. If you are not from the Salt Lake City area, your discharge planner will work with you to locate the necessary resources for ongoing support.
Alzheimer's Association
Physicians, therapists and nurses trained in specialty areas such as spinal cord injury, brain injury, stroke, general neurological conditions, hand injuries, lymphedema and voice disorders provide care to patients with the ultimate goal of returning them to home or a home-like setting.
Aphasia Support Group

Brain Injury Support Group
