Admissions Process
The Admissions Committee
The Comprehensive Inpatient Rehabilitation Program has a customer friendly admissions process that is easy to use. The interdisciplinary admissions committee meets each day to discuss the flow of information about potential new patients. This ensures that everyone is ready to provide needed services when the patient is admitted to the program.
The Rehabilitation Medicine Consult Physician
The rehabilitation medicine consult physician reviews and evaluates each potential patient for admission. The physician assesses the patient's medical appropriateness for inpatient rehabilitation. The consult physician identifies an attending physician to admit the patient and notifies the admissions committee to begin planning for the new patient's unique needs.
