About Outpatient Rehabilitation
The Goal
The goal of Outpatient Rehabilitation Services is to provide care to individuals with disabling conditions who do not require hospitalization to achieve specific therapeutic goals. This allows such persons to minimize the effects of disability and to live in the community at their highest level of physical, social and emotional well-being.

Conditions usually requiring multiple services treated by a team approach:
- Brain injuries
- Spinal cord injuries
- Strokes
- Amputation
- General neuromuscular impairment
- Arthritis
- Cancer with physical impairment
- Parkinson's Disease
- Guillain-Barre'
- Chronic pain
- Muscular Dystrophy
- Cerebral Palsy
- Sports injuries
- Burn
- Other musculoskeletal pain/dysfunction
- Speech and language disorders
- General orthopedic conditions

Admission Criteria
- Physician referral
- Medically stable
- Do not require hospitalization
- Financial resource identified
- Independent or provide own assistant
