How do I make an appointment?

Find the location that is most appropriate for your care and call us! If you are unsure where you should go, call us and we will get you to the best resource for your needs. 801-58-REHAB

What do I need to make an appointment?

  • A physician's order - In most cases a referral from your physician is either necessary or preferred. If your insurance company and medical condition do not require an order, call us and we will work with you.
  • Insurance Information - We will contact your insurance company to provide you with current information.

How do I get to the clinic?

How long do I have to wait for an appointment?

In most cases, we are able to see you within 7-10 days, often sooner. We are happy to call you if an earlier appointment opens up!

Will my insurance cover my therapy?

University Health Care contracts with many different insurance plans. We likely have a relationship with your company. When you call us, we will provide you with current information to help you make decisions for your care.

What happens if I don't have any insurance coverage?

University Health Care has financial counselors to help you understand your benefits and what options may be available to you to obtain care. Please call 581-2957 to discuss your needs.

Will I be able to have the same therapist?

We make every effort to schedule your care with the same clinician for each visit. There are, however, times when we find a small team of clinicians are best able to cover your therapy needs.

How long will the appointment last?

The duration of your visit is dependent upon the nature of the services that you will receive. In general, you should plan on about one hour, but this may vary. Please talk to your care provider to understand the specific time requirements of your care.

How long will I have to come for therapy?

This depends on your condition and how well you respond to therapy. Your care provider is happy to speak with you about your care plan, goals and the estimated duration of your care.

How much will it cost me?

Depending on your insurance coverage, you may be responsible for a co-pay or co-insurance. Since this is different for each patient and insurance plan, we will be happy to discuss this with you personally.

Can my family come to therapy with me?

We welcome family members' participation in your care. We encourage you to bring someone with you who can support you while working on your goals at home. We do, however, encourage you to make other arrangements for young children to allow you to fully focus on your therapy program.

What do I do if I have a question about my bill?
