University Health Care's Rehabilitation Center offers a comprehensive interdisciplinary program for persons who have spinal cord injury/dysfunction. Our goal is to provide the highest level of function by creating a personalized rehabilitation plan. The rehab plan will help the person served and their family, set and reach physical, mental and emotional goals to enable the patient to return to the community.

Persons who have spinal cord injury experience a number of functional limitations which may include not being able to walk, dress, feed themselves or feel hot, cold or pain. Depending on the extent and location of spinal cord damage a person may not be able to speak or breathe independently.
