Pediatric Rehabilitation
For our youngest patients, our goal is to not only improve the physical function, but also that of their emotional well-being during recovery. Located in the renowned Primary Children’s Medical Center, the program treats children living with neurologic and musculoskeletal conditions. Our specialists provide world-class care to regain function lost through injury, illness or other disabling conditions.
Our Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation specialists help children gain function lost through injury, illness, or disabling conditions, such as:
- Cerebral palsy
- Brain injury
- Spinal cord injury
- Muscular dystrophy
- Chronic pain
- Other disabling conditions
The PCMC Pediatric Rehabilitation clinic has a comprehensive spasticity management program which includes oral medications, intramuscular injections, baclofen pump management and evaluation for selective dorsal rhizotomy.
