The multi-disciplinary University Sleep~Wake Center is an accredited member of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM). This accreditation assures that high standards of quality and clinical care are provided to all patients who require evaluation, treatment and follow up of sleep disorders. Having a multi disciplinary treatment team is important because of the potential complexity of the various sleep disorders and how they relate to other health issues.
At the University of Utah Sleep~Wake Center, you will be evaluated by one of the Care Providers on our team of sleep specialists and clinical staff specially trained and/or certified in the treatment of sleep disorders. They include:

Neurologist; board certified in Sleep Medicine and Neurology

Pulmonologist; board certified in Sleep Medicine, Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine and Critical Care

Psychiatrist; board certified in Sleep Medicine and Psychiatry.

Psychologist; Diplomate American Board Behavioral Sleep Medicine with extensive experience in sleep physiology/psychology,

Physician Assistants working under the supervision of the Pulmonologist.
