Clinical Trials

Physicians at the University of Utah Health Care Transplant Center are continually seeking new and innovated ways to treat conditions in all areas of transplant medicine. Many of our physicians are conducting clinical trial research in an effort to better understand and improve the treatments available to transplant patients.

Participants in clinical trials can play a more active role in their own health care, gain access to new research treatments before they are widely available, and help others by contributing to medical research.  Choosing to participate in a clinical trial is an important personal decision, and we encourage potential volunteers to do their own research so that they can make an informed decision.
